Outlet and Flea Market Shopping from K's Butterfly or Crystal

Both my Kissimmee Butterfly and Crystal resort vacation rentals are within easy driving of Orlando area outlet stores that advertise they offer discounted retail prices, as well as flea markets on U.S. 192.  For your information I provide the following list, telephone numbers, Internet contact links and Mapquest links.

Note - In my opinion the flea markets generally no longer offer discount prices.  However, they do offer an unusual atmosphere you may enjoy experiencing.  Additionally, the flee markets offer some merchandise you might not find in other places.

Orlando Premium Outlets
Find your favorite designers and brand names in our Mediterranean setting, all at incredible outlet prices. Quality Outlet Center
This is not a large selection of merchants, and is basically a strip mall.  But the merchants there offer some excellent buys for brands such as Adidas, Mikasa, and Samsonite.
Location: 5527 International Drive.  This is just East of Kirkman Road in the stretch where International curves and is going West.  Shortly thereafter International curves North again and you shortly reach its North terminus and what used to be Belz Factory Outlets.  Supposedly a new center soon.  See note at the end of this page.
Information: (407) 423-5885
Hours: Monday to Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Just across the street is the excellent Passage To India restaurant.

The following crossed out material described the outlet mall previously called Belz, that was located at the absolute north end of International drive.  The Mapquest links below still point you to the correct locations.  The mall was sold and the stores are being renovated.  It is now called Prime Factory Outlet World.  The website for Prime advertised they held their grand re-opening midnight, Thanksgiving night, November 23, 2006.  They also have posted a schedule of phased openings of different refurbished parts of the complex.  Check out their website.  Phased reopening of refurbished sections.  I can't wait to check out the new stores.

Belz Factory Outlet
They advertise "buy direct from manufacturers."  Including all their locations, they advertise having over 170 outlet merchants.  Supposedly this is the largest non-anchored factory outlet center of its kind in the country with 700,000 sq. ft. in two fully enclosed malls and four strip centers.  Savings are on some of America's favorite names.  Inside you will discover fashions, footwear and jewelry for the entire family.  Save up to 75% on Famous Name brands like, Mikasa, Dexter shoes, London Fog, Pfaltzgraff, Reebok, Rockport, Duckhead, Geoffrey Beene, Fitz & Floyd, Swank, Danskin, Calvin Klein, Black & Decker and many, many, more.

Located at 5401 W. Oakridge Road (this is the North deadend of International Drive, Orlando.)  Geographically it is located across the I-4 - Kirkman Rd. interchange from Universal Studios about 12 miles from Walt Disney World.
